Meet our Staff

We believe that every child deserves a pre-school experience of the highest quality. Our staff are highly experienced enthusiastic and deeply committed to high standards of practice. Every member of staff must have an enhanced DBS check, undertake paediatric First Aid certification and training in Food Safety and Safeguarding Children. Staff are involved in on-going professional training, including at least one member of staff trained in the care of those with special needs.

Jackie Brewer
Manager
Jackie has worked at Little Fishes since 2000. She is qualified to BA (Hons) Early Years Education and Practice. She is also responsible for health and safety within the group and the Deputy Safeguarding Leader and Deputy SENCo and has just completed her level 3 SENCo training.

Natalie Taylor
Deputy Manager
Red Group key person
Natalie joined us in 2012 and is qualified to BTEC and NVQ level 3 in early education and childcare. Natalie is the groups outdoor co-ordinator and is very enthusiastic about evaluating and improving our outdoor provision. Natalie currently works 4 days per week.

Hannah Simmons
2nd Deputy Manager/ Designated Safeguarding Leader
Green Group key person
Hannah began working at Little Fishes in summer 2022 and has a Foundation Degree in Early Years as well as a NVQ level 3 in early education and childcare. She has had experience in pre-schools and baby rooms. Hannah currently works 4 days per week.

Sophie Stoner
Blue Group Co key person
Sophie completed a placement with Little Fishes whilst studying for her NVQ Level 2 at Guildford college which she completed in summer 2022. Sophie has been studying for her level 3 Early Years Educator and achieved this in April 2024. Sophie currently works 4 days a week as a co keyperson in Blue Group.

Mel Jones
Setting Senco
Blue Group key person
Mel joined Little Fishes in October 23, having been a SENCo in her previous setting. She has a BA (Hons) in Early Years and Childhood studies and a Level 3 Early Years qualification. She has completed the Surrey SENCo training and is currently doing her level 3 senco training. Mel leads small group activities for children with speech, language and social difficulties

Jess Morgan
Special Needs Support Worker / preschool assistant
Jess began working at Little Fishes in 2019, she has lots of experience in supporting children who are on the autistic spectrum. She currently provides 1-1 support but can also provide small group support and can provide cover for staff when needed.

Louise Carter
Yellow Group keyperson
Louise joined Little Fishes in June 2023. She has a level 3 Early Years Qualification. Louise has previously worked in preschools in the UK and in Cyprus.

Nikki Endersby
Special Needs Support Worker/preschool assistant
Nikki began working at Little Fishes in 2019 and completed her Level 3 in Early Years in 2025. Nikki supports children with additional needs within our early intervention groups and also provides some 1-1 support when needed.

Valerie Crow
Preschool Assistant

Val has been working at Little Fishes for over 15 years, she has a Level 3 Diploma in Preschool Practice. Val previously worked full time at the preschool but now works 2 days per week and provides cover when needed.

Amelia Callan

Milly is currently providing 1-1 support part of the week and is a preschool assistant the other part of the week. She is currently studying for her level 3 in Early Years.
